What is Gates of Olympus 2500?

Gates of Olympus 2500 brings Zeus back to a 6x5 grid without traditional paylines. Instead, the game uses Pay Anywhere, meaning enough matching symbols can appear anywhere on the grid to create a win.

After every winning combination, the involved symbols disappear through the Tumble feature. The remaining symbols drop down and new symbols fill the empty positions. As long as another win is created, the same Tumble sequence continues.

Multiplier symbols form the second major part of the gameplay. They can appear in both the base game and Free Spins and can carry values up to 2,500×. Four or more Scatters trigger 25 Free Spins, after which one of four bonus modes is selected at random.

Pay Anywhere

Gates of Olympus 2500 does not use fixed paylines. Wins are formed when enough matching regular symbols appear anywhere on the 6x5 grid.

Depending on the symbol, 8, 10, 11 or at least 12 matching symbols are required for a payout. Their exact positions on the grid do not matter.

This allows wins to be formed across the entire playing area and connects directly with the Tumbles that follow every successful combination.

Tumble feature

After every win, the winning symbols disappear from the grid. The remaining symbols then fall down and new symbols enter from above to fill the empty spaces.

If the new arrangement creates another win, a further Tumble begins immediately. There is no fixed limit to the number of Tumbles within the same sequence.

The cycle only ends when a new drop no longer produces another win. This means several consecutive wins can be created from a single original spin.

Multiplier symbols

Multiplier symbols can appear on any reel during both the base game and Free Spins.

Their values can reach up to 2,500×. If several multiplier symbols are present during the same Tumble sequence, their values are added together.

At the end of the Tumble sequence, the combined multiplier is applied to the total win accumulated during that sequence.

The way multipliers are collected and used during Free Spins changes depending on which of the four bonus modes has been selected.

Free Spins

Four or more Scatter symbols anywhere on the grid trigger 15 Free Spins.

Before the bonus begins, one of four modes is selected at random: Free Spins 1, Free Spins 2, Super Free Spins 1 or Super Free Spins 2.

All four modes continue to use Tumbles and multiplier symbols, but they differ in the way the total multiplier is built throughout the bonus.

If 3 or more new Scatters appear during the Free Spins, 5 extra Free Spins are added. These extra spins are played within the same bonus mode selected at the start.

Free Spins 1

During Free Spins 1, a total multiplier is built from multiplier symbols that appear on spins that also produce a win.

When such a multiplier lands, its value is added to the total multiplier. The accumulated multiplier is then used to increase the corresponding win.

New multiplier symbols can continue increasing the total value throughout the bonus, allowing later winning spins to be played with a higher multiplier.

Free Spins 2

Free Spins 2 also uses an increasing total multiplier, but it builds in a different way.

Every multiplier that appears during the bonus is added to the total multiplier. This accumulated value then remains available to increase later wins throughout the remaining Free Spins.

This gives the mode a stronger focus on collecting multiplier symbols across the full bonus round.

Super Free Spins 1

Super Free Spins 1 follows the same basic structure as Free Spins 1, but with stronger multiplier symbols.

Every multiplier that appears on a winning spin has a minimum value of 25×. When such a multiplier lands, its value is added to the total multiplier for the bonus.

The accumulated value is then applied to the corresponding win. Because every new multiplier is worth at least 25×, the total multiplier can increase more quickly than in the standard version.

Super Free Spins 2

Super Free Spins 2 uses the same structure as Free Spins 2, where multiplier symbols are added to a persistent total multiplier throughout the bonus.

Here too, every multiplier symbol has a minimum value of 25×. Each new multiplier therefore increases the total by at least 25×.

The accumulated multiplier remains available for later wins during the remaining Free Spins. This mode combines the persistent multiplier structure of Free Spins 2 with the higher minimum multiplier values of the Super Free Spins.

Extra Free Spins

Scatter symbols can appear again during all four bonus modes.

If 3 or more Scatters land during the Free Spins, 5 extra Free Spins are added.

These extra spins are played in the same bonus mode that was selected at the start, so the multiplier structure of that mode remains active.

Difference between the four bonus modes

All four Free Spins modes use the same foundation of Tumbles and multiplier symbols, but they mainly differ in how the total multiplier is built.

In Free Spins 1, multipliers linked to winning spins are added to the total multiplier. Free Spins 2 collects multiplier symbols into a persistent total value throughout the bonus.

Super Free Spins 1 and Super Free Spins 2 follow the same two structures, but every multiplier symbol has a minimum value of 25×.

This means each bonus can play differently depending on which mode is selected and when the multiplier symbols appear.

Multipliers and Tumbles

The combination of Tumbles and multiplier symbols drives a large part of the gameplay.

In the base game, multiplier values present during a Tumble sequence are added together at the end of that sequence and applied to the total accumulated win.

During Free Spins, the same mechanic becomes more important because the different bonus modes build a total multiplier that can affect multiple wins across the feature.

Longer Tumble sequences and additional multiplier symbols can therefore build on each other throughout the same bonus.

Why Gates of Olympus 2500 stands out

Gates of Olympus 2500 stays close to the familiar Olympus formula with Pay Anywhere wins, Tumbles and multiplier symbols, but expands the bonus structure significantly.

The maximum multiplier has been increased to 2,500×, while the four different Free Spins modes provide most of the variation.

Free Spins 1 and 2 each use a different way of building the total multiplier, while the Super Free Spins versions add a minimum multiplier value of 25×.

With 25 starting Free Spins and the ability to add 5 extra spins through retriggers, a single bonus can also continue for longer.
