Answer ten short questions and gain insight into your gaming behaviour. This way you discover whether you might benefit from extra control or support to keep gaming fun and responsible. All answers are of course handled in complete confidence.
Reality Check
With Reality Check you receive a summary of your gaming activity every 30 minutes. This helps you keep track of the time you spend playing and the limits you have set, allowing you to maintain better control over your gaming behavior.
Behaviour control
Our behaviour-control tools help you keep a grip on your gaming behaviour. You're automatically notified when notable changes occur, such as higher stakes or longer gaming sessions than usual. That way you keep playing in a way that's responsible and enjoyable.
Games of chance
Before taking part in games of chance it's important that you're well aware of the rules, restrictions and possible risks. Gaming should stay fun, and that begins with mindful and informed participation.
Access restrictions
In order to comply with legislation and to safeguard the safety and well-being of our players, we don't offer games of chance to persons under the age of 18. In addition, participation is not permitted for individuals who are temporarily excluded from participation, registered in the Central Register for the Exclusion of Games of Chance (CRUKS), or for whom there are indications of serious problematic gambling behavior.
Risks of addiction
Gambling can be exciting and fun, but it also carries risks. What starts as relaxation can imperceptibly turn into problematic gaming behaviour, even for players who normally stay in control.
The consequences can be significant: financial problems, stress, relationship issues and mental health complaints. Online games of chance amplify this risk through their constant availability, anonymity and rapid rewards, which can make it harder to stop in time.
That's why Oranje Palace provides tools such as limits and monitoring to help you stay in control.
Notice that gaming is becoming less fun or that you're losing grip? Take action in time. Set limits, take a break or seek professional help.
Play with control
At Oranje Palace you decide how you play. With our limits and tools you keep a grip on your time and spending, so gaming always stays fun and responsible. Need help? Our customer service is happy to assist.
Deposit limit
With a deposit limit you set how much you can deposit per day, week or month. Once your limit is reached, you can't make new deposits until the next period.
Increases take effect after 7 days; decreases are immediate.
Session limit
With a session limit you decide how long you can stay logged in per day. Once your limit is reached, you're automatically logged out.
Increases take effect after 7 days; decreases are immediate.
Balance limit
With a balance limit, you can set a maximum amount for the balance on your player account. Amounts exceeding your limit will be automatically transferred to your account and paid out within 24 hours.
Increases take effect after 7 days; decreases are immediate.
Net deposit threshold
In addition to your own limits, a legally required net-deposit threshold applies. It's based on the difference between deposits and withdrawals and helps you stay in control.
The currently applicable net deposit thresholds are €300 per month for young adult players aged 18 to 24, and €700 per month for players aged 24 and over.
Increasing the net deposit threshold and financial means
When a player submits a request to increase the net deposit threshold, Oranje Palace may ask the player to provide additional information, including information on the source of funds and financial means.
Oranje Palace assesses such a request in the context of responsible gaming behaviour and in compliance with applicable legislation.
Oranje Palace reserves the right to refuse a limit-increase request if:
- the requested information isn't provided; or
- an increase is considered irresponsible given the player's gaming behaviour and financial means.
Take a break
Notice that gaming is becoming less fun or that you're losing control? Then it's important to take a break in time. If your set limits aren't enough, you can choose to exclude yourself from gaming temporarily or for a longer period.
Self-exclusion via CRUKS
If you want to take a break from all Dutch gambling operators, you can register with the Central Register for the Exclusion of Games of Chance (CRUKS). A CRUKS registration blocks your access to all legal operators in the Netherlands.
During the exclusion period you can't create a new account or use existing accounts. You don't receive a notification when the period ends. After the exclusion period the registration automatically lapses and you can again take part in games of chance at legal operators.
In certain cases we may, in line with legislation and our addiction-prevention policy, request that you register with CRUKS.
People in your immediate environment, such as family members, may also submit a request for involuntary CRUKS registration under certain conditions.
Here's how it works: via the link below you go to the official CRUKS website, where you can follow the steps for self-exclusion.
Self-exclusion at Oranje Palace
You can also choose to temporarily block only your Oranje Palace account. This can be done for 1 day, 1 week or 1 month.
After you confirm your choice, you are logged out immediately and logging in is no longer possible until the chosen period has passed.

Our addiction-prevention policy
At Oranje Palace we safeguard a safe and responsible gaming environment. Our addiction-prevention policy focuses on early identification of risky gaming behaviour and providing appropriate support to players. In doing so, our primary objective is to prevent and limit harmful gambling behavior.
To achieve this we use continuous monitoring and targeted interventions. We have also developed various measures and tools to help players stay in control and continue playing responsibly.
We collaborate with internal and external responsible-gaming experts to ensure our policy, tools and procedures are continuously improved and meet the highest standards.
Our measures and tools are evaluated and optimised regularly, so they keep effectively contributing to safe and responsible gaming behaviour.
Tools for responsible gaming
We offer various tools that help you gain insight into your gaming behaviour and set limits. Think of self-evaluations and ways to limit your gaming time and spending, so you only play with time and money you can afford to lose.
Tools for taking a break
When limits or restrictions are not enough, we offer additional options such as self-exclusion and blocking access to the website. These measures can be set for a period that fits your situation.
Risk analysis of our game offering
We regularly analyse the risks of the games we offer, based on scientific insights. When our offering changes or new developments occur, these analyses are updated to safeguard a responsible game offering.
Gaming behaviour analysis
Using monitoring systems we analyse gaming behaviour to identify signals of risky or anomalous gaming behaviour at an early stage. On that basis we can identify players who may need extra support. All data is processed carefully in accordance with our privacy policy.
Interventions and restrictions
When we identify signals of risky gaming behaviour, we take appropriate measures in line with legislation and our addiction-prevention policy.
Depending on the situation we may contact you to discuss your gaming behaviour, give insight and offer targeted advice. This can be via on-screen notifications, by email or, if necessary, through personal contact with a responsible-gaming specialist.
If necessary we can impose restrictions, such as lowering limits or temporarily or permanently restricting access to (parts of) our game offering. These measures may also be applied without a request from the player to protect the player and prevent further risks.
In addition we may recommend using the Central Register for the Exclusion of Games of Chance (CRUKS), which temporarily or long-term blocks participation in games of chance in the Netherlands.
Advertising and marketing
Players for whom risky gaming behaviour has been identified and to whom intervention measures apply do not receive marketing or advertising communications, including bonuses. The duration depends on the assessed risk level.
All other players can opt out of marketing communications and promotional offers at any time.
Vulnerable groups
Persons under 18 are excluded from participation on our platform. During the registration process we take all necessary measures to verify our players age and keep minors out.
Young adults aged 18 to 24 are considered a group with an elevated risk of developing problematic gaming behaviour. We therefore pay extra attention to these players, aiming to identify risky patterns early and apply appropriate interventions where necessary.
