What is 3 Dragon Pots Ultimate?

3 Dragon Pots Ultimate uses an Asian dragon theme with golden coins, ornate pots and traditional lucky symbols. Winning combinations are formed by matching symbols on consecutive reels starting from reel 1.

The main feature is Hold & Win. Coloured Dragon Coins can open separate bonus boards, each with a different function. The blue Dragon Coin is linked to cash value upgrades, the green Dragon Coin to multipliers and the purple Dragon Coin to value collection.

Main features

  • 5 reels and 3 rows
  • 25 fixed paylines
  • Hold & Win with 3 respins
  • Blue Dragon Coin for the Upgrade Board
  • Green Dragon Coin for the Multiplier Board
  • Purple Dragon Coin for the Collect Board
  • Extra Dragon Coins can activate new boards during Hold & Win
  • Dragon Wizard can award an extra respin to a bonus board
  • Grand Jackpot of 2,500× the stake for filling a bonus board
  • Maximum win of 7,500× the stake

Symbols

The regular symbols consist of the card values J, Q, K and A together with themed symbols including a golden frog, lucky cat, red envelopes and a white tiger.

The dragon symbol is the Wild and can appear on all 5 reels. There are also Bonus symbols, fixed prize symbols and blue, green and purple Dragon Coins that activate the separate Hold & Win mechanics.

Wild

The Wild substitutes for all non-special symbols and can appear on reels 1 to 5.

Special symbols are not replaced by the Wild. If a sequence of Wilds is interrupted by a special symbol, the win is calculated according to the normal paytable.

Hold & Win

Hold & Win can be triggered when at least one coloured Dragon Coin appears on the grid. A maximum of one coloured Dragon Coin can appear per reel.

The feature starts with 3 respins and the regular paylines are disabled during the bonus. Depending on the Dragon Coins present on the triggering spin, the feature is divided into separate bonus boards.

Dragon Coins, Bonus symbols, Mini, Minor, Major and Mega prize symbols and empty positions can appear on these boards. Every time a new non-empty symbol lands, the respin counter for that specific board resets to 3.

New Dragon Coins can also appear during Hold & Win. This means additional bonus boards and their related mechanics can still be added after the feature has already started.

Blue Dragon Coin – Upgrade Board

The blue Dragon Coin activates the Upgrade Board. Whenever a new Dragon Coin lands on this board, a random cash value is added to a randomly selected cash symbol.

The possible increases range from 1× to 10× the stake. Existing cash values can therefore continue to grow over consecutive respins.

Green Dragon Coin – Multiplier Board

The green Dragon Coin opens the Multiplier Board. Once the respins on this board have ended, a random multiplier is applied to all cash symbols currently present.

The possible multipliers are 2×, 3×, 4× and 5×. Unlike the Upgrade Board, individual cash values are not increased separately. Instead, all relevant values are multiplied together at the end of the board.

Purple Dragon Coin – Collect Board

The purple Dragon Coin activates the Collect Board. During every spin, the purple Dragon Coin collects the value of one randomly selected cash symbol and adds it to its own total.

This can happen across multiple respins, allowing the collected value to continue increasing for as long as the Collect Board remains active.

Dragon Wizard

The Dragon Wizard can appear when a bonus board has used its final respin and would normally end.

The Wizard can grant that specific board 1 extra respin. If a new symbol lands during that extra respin, the respin counter resets to 3 and the board continues.

If nothing new lands, the board ends. The Dragon Wizard can appear multiple times during the same Hold & Win feature, and the same board can receive more than one extra chance.

Bonus and prize symbols

During Hold & Win, Bonus symbols and fixed prize symbols can appear alongside the Dragon Coins. The prize symbols are Mini, Minor, Major and Mega and award their corresponding prize when collected on an active bonus board.

The Bonus symbols form the basis of the cash values used across the different Dragon Boards. Depending on the active board, these values can be increased, multiplied or collected.

If one of the bonus boards is completely filled, the Grand Jackpot of 2,500× the stake is awarded.

Ante Bet

3 Dragon Pots Ultimate includes an Ante Bet that doubles the chance of triggering Hold & Win.

When the Ante Bet is enabled, each spin costs 1.5× the normal stake. Any winnings are calculated using the original stake rather than the total cost of the Ante Bet.

The Hold & Win mechanics themselves do not change. The Ante Bet only affects the cost per spin and the chance of triggering the bonus.

Maximum win

The maximum win in 3 Dragon Pots Ultimate is 7,500× the stake.

The Hold & Win feature can contain several bonus boards at the same time. The Upgrade Board increases individual cash values, the Multiplier Board applies a multiplier to all cash symbols once the board ends, and the Collect Board builds its own accumulated value during the respins.

The Dragon Wizard can also affect how the feature develops by granting extra respins to individual bonus boards.

Why 3 Dragon Pots Ultimate stands out

3 Dragon Pots Ultimate expands the Hold & Win format with three Dragon Boards that each have a different function. The blue Dragon Coin activates the Upgrade Board, the green Dragon Coin opens the Multiplier Board and the purple Dragon Coin starts the Collect Board.

Because additional Dragon Coins can also land during Hold & Win, the same bonus round can continue to expand after it has already started. This means several bonus boards and different mechanics can be active within the same feature.

The Dragon Wizard adds another layer to this structure. A board that would normally end can receive one extra respin. If a new symbol lands, the counter resets to 3 and the board continues.

Is 3 Dragon Pots Ultimate worth playing?

3 Dragon Pots Ultimate is designed for players who enjoy Hold & Win video slots with multiple bonus mechanics running within the same feature. The three Dragon Boards allow upgrades, multipliers and collected cash values to develop in different ways.

This Iron Dog Studio release via 1X2 Network combines three different Dragon Boards, the Dragon Wizard and a maximum win of 7,500× the stake.
