Slingo Devil's Lock is a Slingo game from Gaming Realms in which you have 5 rounds to match numbers on the reels with the same numbers on a 5×5 grid. Completed horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines form Slingos and move you further up the prize ladder. From 5 Slingos onwards, bonus features are unlocked, while 8 or more Slingos award Devil's Lock rounds. The maximum win is 1,000× the stake.

What is Slingo Devil's Lock?

Slingo Devil's Lock combines the Slingo concept with several bonus features built around a cartoon-style devil. The central 5×5 grid contains numbers that you try to mark during 5 rounds by matching them with the numbers shown on the reels.

A complete horizontal, vertical or diagonal line forms one Slingo. The more Slingos you complete, the further you move up the prize ladder. The first levels award direct prizes, followed by the Unlock Bonus from 5 Slingos onwards. From 8 Slingos, the gameplay shifts to Devil's Lock rounds.

  • Devil can activate Wilds and coin prizes

Grid and special symbols

The base game uses a 5×5 grid with 25 numbered positions. Together, these positions form 12 horizontal, vertical and diagonal Slingo lines.

The devil is the main special symbol and can only appear in the central reel position. When he lands, he can influence the outcome, while a coin is also collected in the pig.

Wilds can only be added by the devil. With a Wild, you can choose one number in the corresponding column and mark it on the Slingo grid. This allows you to target a missing position that can help complete a Slingo line.

Coins can also appear with values of 0.5×, 1× or 1.5× the stake. If the devil appears while locked coins are present, the displayed coin values are awarded in addition to any Slingo prizes.

Prize ladder

The prize ladder determines which prize or bonus you receive based on the number of completed Slingos.

  • 3 Slingos: 0.5× the stake
  • 4 Slingos: 1× the stake
  • 5 Slingos: Unlock Bonus with 2 reels
  • 6 Slingos: Unlock Bonus with 4 reels
  • 7 Slingos: Unlock Bonus with 8 reels
  • 8 Slingos: 3 Devil's Lock rounds
  • 9 Slingos: 6 Devil's Lock rounds
  • 10 Slingos: 12 Devil's Lock rounds
  • Full House / 12 Slingos: 12 Devil's Lock rounds with ×2

The structure changes clearly as you progress. The first levels award direct prizes, then the Unlock Bonus expands from 2 to 8 active reels, and finally Devil's Lock rounds are unlocked.

At Full House, the number of Devil's Lock rounds does not increase further, but the 12 rounds receive a ×2 multiplier.

Super Devil

Every time the regular devil appears, one coin is added to the pig.

When the pig explodes, the devil transforms into the Super Devil. At the start of this feature, he grows to a size of 2×2, 3×3, 4×4 or even 5×5.

The Super Devil then moves across the Slingo grid. Every unmarked number covered by him is automatically marked.

Because a single activation can fill several positions at once, the Super Devil can move multiple Slingo lines closer to completion at the same time.

Unlock Bonus

The Unlock Bonus is opened at 5, 6 or 7 Slingos and consists of one bonus round with up to 8 individual reels.

With 5 Slingos, 2 reels are active. With 6 Slingos, 4 reels are used, while all 8 reels are available at 7 Slingos.

The bonus includes cash prizes and bonus prizes. As you reach a higher Slingo level, more possible prizes become available.

The highest confirmed bonus prize within the Unlock Bonus is 1,000× the stake.

Devil Respin

During the Unlock Bonus, the devil can respin one or more reels.

A respun reel then shows a new prize. This new prize is always more valuable than the original prize shown on that reel.

If several reels are respun within the same bonus, the final value of the Unlock Bonus can increase further.

Devil Upgrade

At 5 and 6 Slingos, a Devil Upgrade can appear during the Unlock Bonus.

When this feature is activated, the devil opens additional symbol positions and unlocks the next Slingo bonus level. This allows a bonus that started with fewer active reels to expand during the feature.

The Devil Upgrade can also make additional bonus prizes available.

Pig Upgrade

The Pig Upgrade is available only at the 7-Slingo level.

If the pig appears during the Unlock Bonus, 3 Devil's Lock rounds are awarded.

The Pig Upgrade therefore creates a direct route from the Unlock Bonus into Devil's Lock, which is normally unlocked from 8 Slingos onwards through the prize ladder.

Devil's Lock rounds

From 8 Slingos onwards, Devil's Lock rounds are awarded directly through the prize ladder.

With 8 Slingos, you receive 3 rounds. At 9 Slingos, you get 6 rounds, while 10 Slingos unlock 12 rounds. At Full House, meaning 12 Slingos, you also play 12 Devil's Lock rounds, but with a ×2 multiplier.

Devil's Lock is played with 15 individual reels. The devil occupies the central reel and acts as a Wild. He substitutes for regular symbols, but not golden coins or Bonus symbols, and remains fixed in the centre during every round.

The bonus uses 40 paylines. Only the highest line win on each active line is paid, while wins from multiple paylines are added together.

A respin can occur randomly during the bonus. When this happens, a non-winning symbol is replaced by a Bonus symbol. These Bonus symbols do not trigger another respin themselves.

Maximum win

The maximum win in Slingo Devil's Lock is 1,000× the stake.

This value is also the highest confirmed bonus prize within the Unlock Bonus. The maximum total game win remains 1,000× the stake.

Why Slingo Devil's Lock stands out

Slingo Devil's Lock mainly stands out through the clear progression from the base game into several different bonus levels.

The first steps on the prize ladder award direct prizes, after which the Unlock Bonus becomes progressively larger with 2, 4 or 8 active reels. From 8 Slingos onwards, the gameplay shifts to Devil's Lock rounds.

The devil plays a central role across several parts of the game. He can add Wilds, activate coin values, unlock the Super Devil through the pig and create additional effects during the bonus.

This creates a Slingo game in which progress on the grid directly determines which form of gameplay is unlocked next.

Is Slingo Devil's Lock worth playing?

Slingo Devil's Lock is mainly suited to players who enjoy combining the Slingo format with several bonus layers and a clear prize ladder.

This Gaming Realms release combines a 5×5 grid with the Super Devil, Unlock Bonus, bonus upgrades and Devil's Lock rounds.
