It has to be said: Haiti put in a decent performance in their match against Scotland. Meanwhile, Brazil picked up a point against a rampant Morocco. The two nations face each other at 02.30 on Saturday night, and the Divine Canaries appear to be the clear favourites. It’s clear that both nations could do with a win. Betting at Oranje Palace

New to Oranje Palace? Then you can take advantage straight away of an attractive welcome offer consisting of 3 x €14 Free Bets. The bonus comprises a Pre-match Free Bet, a Live Free Bet and a Bet Builder Free Bet, so you can start betting straight away on the many matches being played during the 2026 World Cup.

But that’s not all, because throughout the tournament you can also make use of Lucky Sub. For example, if you’ve bet on a shot on target by Brazil’s Lucas Paqueta, but he’s substituted before taking a shot, your bet isn’t necessarily lost straight away. If Bruno Guimarães comes on as a substitute and does manage to hit the target, your bet will still be a winner. This is an extra interesting feature to keep an eye on during the 2026 World Cup.

Brazil v Haiti preview

Can Brazil find their rhythm and make short work of Haiti? On paper, it looks like the ideal match to build momentum in the tournament. The question, of course, is: are the Haitians being underestimated? Read on for a brief overview of both teams.

Current Form & Team News

Brazil

Although Brazil could only manage a 1-1 draw against Morocco, Carlo Ancelotti’s side are expected to bounce back against debutants Haiti. Morocco are considered a dangerous outsider and simply have a strong squad. And that is precisely why there is no sign of panic from the ever-cool Italian. What’s more, the Seleção have more than enough quality to outclass Haiti at Philadelphia Stadium. Just look at the stunning goal scored by Vinicius Jr.

Haiti

If Haiti had any chance of getting a result at the 2026 World Cup, it was, on paper, in their opening match against Scotland. In the end, the Haitians lost by just 0-1. Against Brazil, however, they will have fewer chances. Haiti are expected to have to focus largely on defensive work, whilst hoping for a quick counter-attack. Could they pose any sort of threat to Brazil?

Head-to-Head

We’ll come back to this later, but Brazil usually have no trouble at all with Haiti. The two countries have faced each other three times in history, and all these matches ended in resounding victories for the Brazilians. The scores were 7–1, 6–0 and 9–0. However, their most recent encounter was back in 2016.

Expected line-ups

Brazil: (4-2-2-2)

Alisson, Sandro, Gabriel, Marquinhos, Danilo, Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães, Vinicius Jr, Paquetá, Raphinha, Igor Thiago

Haiti: (4-4-2)

Placide, Expérience, Delcroix, Ade, Arcus, Providence, Jacques, Bellegarde, Deedson, Isidor, Nazon

Brazil v Haiti betting tips

Betting tip 1: Over 0.5 shots on target – Ruben Providence

For Almere City player Ruben Providence, playing at a World Cup is a special occasion. He made history by becoming the first player from the Keuken Kampioen Divisie to feature in a World Cup. In the opening match against Scotland, he certainly made a good impression, posing a major threat for Haiti with several attempts on goal. We expect another shot on target from the French-born Haitian. This will earn you odds of 3.05.

Betting tip 2: Over 3.5 goals

Like the rest of the world, we expect a comfortable win for Brazil. In fact, we think there will be at least four goals scored. Not long ago, they beat Panama 6–2, whilst their last three matches against Haiti ended 7–1, 6–0 and 9–0 in Brazil’s favour. Over 3.5 goals in the Brazil v Haiti match will earn you odds of 1.84.

Brazil v Haiti Prediction

** Final score: Brazil 4–0 Haiti **
We reckon Brazil will have no trouble at all against Haiti and expect a 4–0 victory for the Divine Canaries. Simply put, the quality of players such as Raphinha and Vinicius Junior is far too good for the Haitian defence.
