What is Monster Money?
Monster Money is set around a castle beneath a full moon, with bats, gravestones, coffins and classic monster characters. The cartoon-style design and bright colours give the Halloween theme a light-hearted feel.
The game includes two different base game modes. In the standard mode, the focus is mainly on regular paylines and Bonus symbols. With Max Play, the reel composition changes and Monster Cash symbols and monster hunters become the central mechanics.

Symbols
The higher-value regular symbols include a monster hunter, a gravestone with a red skull, a blue coffin, a bottle of green liquid and a large purple eye. A severed hand also appears as part of the monster combinations. The lower-value symbols are A, K, Q, J and 10.
Monster Money also includes six different Monster Cash symbols. These range thematically from a hand through a mummy, werewolf, Frankenstein and Dracula to a golden Dracula.
The Bonus symbol is shown as a bat with the word Bonus. The monster hunter has a dual role: it acts as a Wild and can also collect the values of visible Monster Cash symbols.
Wild
The monster hunter is the Wild symbol in Monster Money and substitutes for all regular symbols except the Bonus symbol.
During Max Play and Free Spins, the hunter can also collect Monster Cash values. When one or more Monster Cash symbols are visible during the same spin, the hunter collects their combined value regardless of where the monsters appear on the reels.
If multiple hunters appear at the same time, the total value of all visible monsters is awarded for each hunter separately. During Free Spins, a monster hunter can also carry a multiplier that is applied to the collected Monster Cash prizes.
Scatter
Three or more Bonus symbols trigger the Free Spins. Three Bonus symbols award 10 Free Spins, four award 15 and five award 20 Free Spins.
Every Bonus symbol that lands also sends a bat towards the castle above the reels. This means spins with only one or two Bonus symbols can still be affected further by the Bat Bonus.
Monster Cash
Monster Cash symbols display a value linked to the base stake. The different monsters have increasing values, with the golden Dracula representing the highest monster type.
To actually collect these values, a monster hunter must appear during the same spin. This can happen during Max Play and the Free Spins.
The hunter collects all visible Monster Cash values at once. The mechanic therefore focuses not only on payline wins, but also on combining several monsters with one or more hunters on the same grid.
Max Play
Max Play is an alternative version of the base game selected with the Max Play button. The stake value itself remains unchanged.
In this mode, the regular paying symbols disappear from the reels and are replaced by monsters, monster hunters, Bonus symbols and pumpkins with no prize value.
Because monster hunters can collect Monster Cash values here, the focus shifts more strongly towards combining valuable monsters with one or more hunters.
Bat Bonus
When Bonus symbols land, bats fly towards the castle above the grid. A lightning strike can then randomly activate the Bat Bonus.
During this feature, bats fly back towards the reels and transform hit positions without a Bonus symbol into additional Bonus symbols.
The Bat Bonus adds at least one Bonus symbol and triggers Super Free Spins. Additional upgrades can also be awarded at the start, including a head start on the progression track, a higher minimum monster level or a minimum multiplier for monster hunters.
Golden Bet
Golden Bet is available in both base game modes. When this option is active, the stake is increased to 1.5× the normal stake.
If 2 Bonus symbols land, the reels without a Bonus symbol spin again. This creates another chance to collect a third Bonus and trigger the Free Spins.
According to the game information, Golden Bet doubles the chance of triggering the bonus. The values of regular payline wins and Monster Cash symbols are not increased.
Free Spins
The Free Spins are triggered by 3 or more Bonus symbols. Three Bonus symbols award 10 Free Spins, four award 15 Free Spins and five award 20 Free Spins.
During the bonus, monster hunters can appear and collect visible Monster Cash values. These hunters can also carry a multiplier that is applied to the collected values.
If a monster hunter appears while no Monster Cash symbols are visible, the hunter remains in place. It stays there until a Monster Cash symbol appears during a later Free Spin or until the bonus ends.
Progression track and monster upgrades
During the Free Spins, a 9-step progression track appears above the reels. Every monster hunter that appears contributes to this progress.
After every 3 collected hunters, the next level is prepared. When the current set of Free Spins ends and such a level has been reached, 10 extra Free Spins are awarded.
At the same time, the lowest remaining monster type is upgraded. This allows the bonus to develop in stages, combining extra spins with increasingly valuable Monster Cash symbols.
Super Free Spins
The Bat Bonus can trigger Super Free Spins. Additional upgrades can be awarded before the bonus begins.
Possible improvements include a head start on the progression track, a higher minimum level for the monsters or a minimum multiplier for the monster hunters.
This means Super Free Spins can begin in a stronger state than a regular Free Spins bonus.
Gamble feature
After a win in the base game, the gamble feature can become available. You can choose between a wheel for a higher cash prize and a wheel for access to Free Spins.
The target prize or number of Free Spins can be adjusted beforehand. If the pointer lands in the green section, you receive the selected reward. If it lands in the red section, the staked win is lost.
Maximum win
The maximum win in Monster Money is 5,000× the base stake.
The main win mechanics revolve around Monster Cash, monster hunters, multipliers and progressive Free Spins with monster upgrades.
Why Monster Money stands out
Monster Money stands out mainly because of the choice between two base game modes. The standard game stays closer to regular paylines, while Max Play shifts the focus towards monsters, hunters and collecting Monster Cash values.
During the Free Spins, the gameplay changes again. Monster hunters can remain in place when no Monster Cash is available, while the progression track can award extra spins and upgrades.
The Bat Bonus adds another route by creating extra Bonus symbols and triggering Super Free Spins with additional upgrades.
