Auto Sub explanation
Are you planning to place a bet at Oranje Palace? If so, you’ll enjoy a brand-new feature: Auto Sub. With this feature, a bet remains active if a player you’ve selected is substituted during the match. This means your bet isn’t immediately lost if your player leaves the field without scoring a goal or taking a shot on goal. Clearly, this offers additional opportunities when betting on individual player performances.
Your player got substituted? No problem with Auto Sub!
With Auto Sub, your bet is automatically transferred to the substitute as soon as the original player leaves the field. This keeps your bet valid without any odds adjustment. This feature is especially useful when betting on popular player markets.
At Oranje Palace, this function is called Lucky Wissel (on the Dutch site) or Lucky Sub (on the English site). Other sportsbooks often refer to it as Wissel+.
If you placed a bet on a player to score a goal and that player is substituted without scoring, your bet is automatically switched to the substitute. If that substitute later scores in the match, your bet wins. This applies to markets such as:
- Goalscorer
- First Goalscorer
- Last Goalscorer
- To Score 2+ Goals
- To Score a Hattrick
- To Provide an Assist
- Player Special: To Score or Assist
- Shots on Target
- Total Shots
Exaple of an Auto Sub bet
magine you bet that Donyell Malen will score for the Dutch national team. After a poor performance without a goal, he is substituted in the 70th minute by Brian Brobbey.
If Brian Brobbey scores later in the match, you still win your bet. Please note: this only applies if the chosen market is eligible for Auto Sub/Lucky Sub.
Auto Sub rules
Of course, some rules apply to the Auto Sub feature. Here are the most important ones:

- The bet remains valid until the final result is confirmed.
- If Cash Out has been used, Auto Sub is cancelled.
- The feature only applies during regular playing time (including stoppage time).
- The substitute player is automatically determined based on official match data.
